“Magic hands” is the most frequent compliment I get.

While it might be my innate superpower (or the years of playing musical instruments?;)), here’s my top 3 tips to make your touch more “magic”!

1. Soft fingers.

“Soft” doesn’t mean “weak”. Think of them as flexible but strong rubber, extension of your arms; hugging the curves of the face (or body), melting around them, and conducting the energy through you & your fingertips. No stiff straight sticks! ;)

2. Body weight rather than pressure.

Whether working with just fingers or with hands/whole arms, don’t muscle it! 💪 Instead, lean in & use the weight of your body to sink in 💕

3. Stay in touch = keep your hands on!!!

Never lift both at the same time. 🚫 Energetic contact always 🙌🙌🙌

BONUS: Breathe! 🙌

-> it will not only help you stay connected to your own body (and therefore to your client’s, too), but also encourage them to do the same, dropping into their body & regulating the nervous system 🧘‍♀️ - translating into a more relaxing & satisfying massage experience (and hence more appreciation of you and your magic hands!;)) 🙌✨

To all my ladies using Botox and similar!

It’s a really great idea to have a face massage in between your injection sessions to prevent muscle atrophy and stimulate the blood & lymph flow.

However, if you don’t want the toxin to metabolise faster (aka the effects to wear out sooner than they’re meant to), wait at least 2-3 weeks before getting manual therapy.

P.S. Done regularly, face massages are a safe, risk free & effective alternative to injectables that’s actually good for you. ;)

The thing I always wish for when attending massage and other courses:

Some uninterrupted 1:1 time with the teacher, where I can have their undivided attention, work on them, get personalised feedback, ask all my questions, clarify whatever’s unclear, polish the technique, and just hang out, with no distractions. 🙌

So I added exactly that for every participant of the LMU face massage training.

And it’s my fave.

Can’t wait to teach the magic again this week 💕✨
