So I recently got married…

(First - spontaneously in Vegas 🤪 and then we celebrated with family in Poland!)

My biggest regret?

Actually, there are 2:

1. not booking a pro-photographer for the whole duration of the party (they SEEM like a big expense but what’s the ONE thing you look back on afterwards?! Photos!!!…) and…

2. …NOT GETTING A FACE MASSAGE BEFORE THE BIG DAY.

(Closely related to the above because we always look way better in pictures after a face massage!!!…).

Grrr!!!…

I was like, I can do my own. (Plus, I was doing a self-massage course with a great teacher at the time.)

I was like, NOBODY DOES IT BETTER!

Well, guess what.

Maybe you’re a pro and nobody does it better but when there’s a wedding to organise and a million things to finalise in the weeks coming up to it (especially if you’re crazy like me and try to make it all happen in less than a month😬), nobody does it… full stop.

Ain’t gonna happen.

You’ll go sit through your eyelash and hair and make up and what not appointments, but unless you made one for some face loving too… you're not getting any! There’s just too many other, more pressing things to do.

Trust me on that one and do yourself a favour and Book. That. Face. Massage. (Or two or three if you want to shine real bright. ✨ But even one LMU ritual the day before will make a huge difference!! Plus, your make-up will stick like a charm - face massage is THE BEST primer!)

You’ll be sooooo glad you did. You’ll catch a breath. De-stress. Stop running like a headless chicken for a moment. Have time to gather your thoughts. Calm down the nervous system. Re-group and re-focus. Remember what’s important. Remember to enjoy your special day. Get excited, get grounded, get back in touch with your heart. 💕

And thank yourself (and, perhaps, me;)) for nailing an important piece of wedding prep 🙏💕💐

Love,

M.

Wow! What can I say? 3 weeks after the training I'm still on a high from it! :) What a beautiful modality for face lifting and soul lifting! Amazing venue, amazing group of women that I learned with and Milena was incredibly patient and firm when needed! ;) So much value in this course and so much packed into 3 days. I am so excited about this new adventure I am on! I highly recommend this practitioner training!

I recently completed the course with Milena, and I must say it completely exceeded my expectations. Milena is an excellent teacher and has an incredible knowledge and passion; she puts a lot of emphasis on practical learning: lots of hands-on practice and personalized feedback. The training was very comprehensive. We not only learned various massage techniques but also delved into the profound therapeutic benefits of touch. Milena also provided us with valuable insights into building a successful massage therapy practice, which is incredibly helpful. After the course our whole group stayed in touch to support each other. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning the art of face massage.

“Magic hands” is the most frequent compliment I get.

While it might be my innate superpower (or the years of playing musical instruments?;)), here’s my top 3 tips to make your touch more “magic”!

1. Soft fingers.

“Soft” doesn’t mean “weak”. Think of them as flexible but strong rubber, extension of your arms; hugging the curves of the face (or body), melting around them, and conducting the energy through you & your fingertips. No stiff straight sticks! ;)

2. Body weight rather than pressure.

Whether working with just fingers or with hands/whole arms, don’t muscle it! 💪 Instead, lean in & use the weight of your body to sink in 💕

3. Stay in touch = keep your hands on!!!

Never lift both at the same time. 🚫 Energetic contact always 🙌🙌🙌

BONUS: Breathe! 🙌

-> it will not only help you stay connected to your own body (and therefore to your client’s, too), but also encourage them to do the same, dropping into their body & regulating the nervous system 🧘‍♀️ - translating into a more relaxing & satisfying massage experience (and hence more appreciation of you and your magic hands!;)) 🙌✨
