...À la carte! ;)

I’d love to have a fixed morning routine but doing the same thing every day feels boooring.

So I made a menu of my favourite tools & activities to mix & match and pick & choose from for a better start of the day!

One is often enough to get me out of the morning grump, two can put me in a pretty pleasant mood, and 3 - oh my! Good day guaranteed 😄

What’s your favourite?

I was in a beautiful masterclass last week where one of my favourite therapists on the Internet talked about how everyone emphasises the importance of skin on skin contact for BABIES… when the truth is, we never grow out of needing it!

It resonated so deeply I nearly cried.

The change in a person’s energy before vs after a treatment - tense & distant at first, then warm, soft & open - has always been my favourite thing about face massage.

In our touch-deprived, head-centred society, body work can truly heal - and go much deeper than our minds ever will. 🙌💕

If you feel called to learn a modality that does that - and also provides a natural facelift as a side benefit ;) - sign up for the next LMU face massage practitioner training coming up in March ✨

Sick in bed after a festival, i’m pondering which direction Lift Me Up should go in 2024.

Losing an old Facebook page for musicians (extension of my first blog; it got taken down out of the blue), having the LMU one hacked (?) again and then watching a video in a beautiful little mindfulness group I closed myself (wtf?!.. don’t do that guys… you can always rebrand but don’t kill a beautiful container you’ve already built and put loads of love into) made me reflect on how I got here and what my why is.

And I feel… perhaps rather than further building up the face massage part of the business (which has grown beautifully to a point I’m pretty happy with at the moment) and setting up a fancy studio (which would seem like a logical next step to many… and which I seriously considered for a moment)… I think I’d rather go back - in some way - to the old days of connecting with you guys (back then on Facebook lives during Covid:)) using meditations, journaling and other healing tools and practices. Face massage is just one of them, after all. And my love for it stems from the love of helping people connect with their hearts and bodies. Not from the passion for beauty trends. (Having said that, I am about to upskill in those too… But the modality is very much grounded in full body work & holistic health.)

I have no idea what it’ll look like. Not sure if or how to build it into my offerings (return of the LMU Circle?? More women’s circles and retreats??). Don’t know if it’ll mean a serious shift or not. Trying to chill in the question and not rush anything.

Cheers to the unknown - and to a beautiful year ahead 🥂💕
